Wineries from all over the world met in Santo Domingo after a three-year absence
After a three-year absence due to the pandemic, Carmelo Rodero took part once again in El Catador's La Gran Cata, held in Santo Domingo on the night of 26 October. This is the most important event held by the wine sector in the Dominican Republic and featured a large turnout of the public and winemakers.
The founder of the winery, Carmelo Rodero, travelled to the Caribbean country to share in this gathering with brands from all over the world, during an evening considered to be the most special of the year for those who are experts in enjoying wine. It is an extraordinary opportunity to fill attendees' glasses and share impressions, exchange opinions, gather suggestions and answer any questions that are asked while savouring the wines.
La Gran Cata represents an opportunity to expand the brand directly among consumers, and that is how it was experienced once again on this occasion. Hundreds of tasters were able to sample wines from Carmelo Rodero served by the winemaker himself, which brings trust and confidence when it comes to communicating and receiving the value of the winery.
El Catador, organiser of this wine celebration, is a Dominican company with a history of over 40 years dedicated to the import and distribution of major wine brands from around the world, allowing it to lead and drive this market from within its country.
