The Carmelo Rodero winery is releasing the new 2021 vintage of its Crianza, a wine that embodies the very essence of the blend of varieties—Tempranillo and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon—to create a unique sensory experience.
Crianza 2021, now available on the market, is the result of grape selection in the vineyard, meticulous work in the winery, and between 14 and 15 months’ ageing in French oak barrels. A blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon achieves the perfect balance to bring out the very best in each of these varieties.
This wine is born in the vineyard and perfected in the winery, where we apply traditional techniques with gravity-fed winemaking, a system patented by our winery, and its ageing in French oak barrels allow this wine to harbour a harmony of fruit aromas from the Tempranillo, which intertwine with nuances characteristic of its time in barrel.
Carmelo Rodero emphasises the satisfaction of being able to meet consumer demand with a new vintage, which, year after year, responds faithfully to a commitment to enjoyment with this winery's wines.
