The tenth edition of the Liga del 99 awards gives it the maximum score
Carmelo Rodero TSM 2019 has been awarded the highest score, 99 points out of 100, in the tenth edition of the Liga del 99, granted by the Guía Vinos Gourmet. This wine has been considered one of the top 25 on the Spanish wine scene and is the result of a balanced and harmonious production.
Carmelo Rodero TSM 2019 is an 18-month reserva, with malolactic fermentation carried out in barrel and ageing in French oak, made from Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. It has a very deep garnet colour and on the nose it displays great personality and an extraordinary richness of nuances, among which the aromas of great wines made slowly for respectful ageing stand out. It is fleshy on the palate, full-bodied and of excellent balance, leading to a long, persistent aftertaste with a pleasant finish.
Liga del 99 makes its decisions following a process carried out by the Tasting Committee of the Guía Gourmets, in which they seek out outstanding wines from thousands of wineries. This award will be presented during the 36th Salón Gourmets, International Fair of Quality Food and Drink, which will be held at Ifema Madrid from 17 to 20 April 2023.
