Carmelo Rodero
TSM

Born in 2003, it is the result of a constant quest to innovate in the Ribera del Duero and project it towards new forms of expression.

Its unique character stems from a rigorous selection of the finest fruits from each vintage. Tempranillo reigns supreme, acts as the backbone. Alongside it, the Cabernet Sauvignon provides firmness and spiced nuances, while the Merlot adds smoothness and a distinctive touch of ripe fruit. Innovation and Single Patent

Winemaking by
Gravity

In 2004, Carmelo devised a unique rotating system for making wines by gravity, protected under patent and designed to minimise the handling of the grapes.

Unlike traditional methods, in this novel design It is the sediments that move gently towards the grape, completely avoiding the use of pumps or other aggressive transfer mechanisms.

From a purely oenological point of view, this procedure guarantees optimal protection of the grape, substantially reduces premature oxidation and maximally respects the original aromas and flavours. The system has become a global benchmark for producing wines of great purity and finesse.
