Pago de Valtarreña is a single-varietal Tempranillo, made with grapes from the family vineyard that gives this wine its name, Pago de Valtarreña. Due to the characteristics of its soils, which are clayey with cool sands, this wine is characterised by intense and pleasant aromas. Ripe black fruits with hints of toasted leather, coffee and highly intense spiced aromas. An attractive cherry colour which on the palate translates into a fresh, well-balanced and structured wine.
Carmelo Rodero Reserva 2019, which has just been released on the market, is also featured in this guide with 98 points.
