At the 37th Salón Gourmets in Madrid, an event that brings together the very best of the gastronomic and wine-making worlds, our winery was the setting for awards that highlight our dedication and love for wine.
The first of these awards went to our beloved founder, Carmelo Rodero, who was honoured as “Winemaker of long tradition”. This prize not only recognises his mastery and dedication in winemaking, but also his ability to fuse traditional wisdom with innovative techniques. This accolade is a testament to the path we have travelled, always respecting our roots while embracing the future.
The second reason for celebration came thanks to our 2021 vintage TSM wine, which has been awarded 99 points by the prestigious Guía Gourmets. This exceptional wine has established itself as one of the best in its category, demonstrating that quality is the pillar of every bottle we produce.
The 2021 TSM is the result of a meticulous selection and crafting process, where Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes are combined to create a balanced and sophisticated blend. With 17 months of ageing in French oak barrels, this wine stands out for its intense colour and rich aromatic palate, offering everything from fruity notes to spicy and balsamic nuances, culminating in a silky and lingering finish.
This award adds to the gold medal that TSM 2021 received at the Real Casino de Madrid wine competition, further consolidating our winery's reputation for producing wines of excellence.
